Home educators can begin their homeschool adventures with competence and confidence
by enrolling their children in A.C.E.'s Lighthouse
Christian Academy. After diagnostic testing, children are assigned courses
that each consist of 12 workbooks called PACEs. Each PACE presents interesting lessons,
new vocabulary, challenging quizzes, and mastery tests. The unique format of the
curriculum allows students to advance from unit to unit as they demonstrate mastery.
Students advance through the curriculum under parental supervision. Parents provide
tutoring at the optimum moment of learning.
Lighthouse Christian Academy (LCA) is a full service homeschool academy that utilizes
the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. We are pleased to inform you that
LCA has received full accreditation from the Commission on International and Trans-regional
Accreditation (CITA) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
as of January, 2003. In LCA, parents serve as homeschool teachers with the distinct
advantage of being able to call experienced academic advisors who prescribe and
order curriculum and assist in implementing the Accelerated Christian Education
program. In LCA home educators retain the freedom of homeschool while receiving
the full service of a school administration office (report cards, transcripts, and
high school diplomas) for a very nominal annual administration fee for each child

The Independent Homeschool Option
Accelerated Christian Education also offers support for independent homeschool educators.
Autonomous home educators may wish to make their own selections from the extensive
array of Accelerated Christian Education's proven educational materials and manage
their own homeschool administration (including report cards, transcripts, and diplomas).
This option requires the purchase of the Quick Start Kit. The Quick Start Kit
is a bundle of materials containing a homeschool manual, workbook (PACE), scope and
sequence, diagnostic tests for one student, and a record-keeping set. (Only $19.95 -

Upon completion of the training activities in the Parent Orientation Guide, homeschool
educators will be prepared to place curriculum orders for their children.
